That's a good question. I don't know what your sitch is Hondo, but when I was off my foot and on crutches I was losing my mind. Finally I said screw it and starting walking my regular route on crutches. You can get a good full-body workout as long you're willing to look like a dork going up and down the street on crutches, which I am. (Looking like a dork is a natural talent of mine.) PROTIP: A pair of rubber crutch tips lasts about five miles on pavement, so get some spares.
On the other hand, you don't want to interfere with/damage the healing process. That could have ramifications for the rest of your life.
