Also was able to do some more research:
it appears that an AW hub shell will work on the S5. I will need to do some additional research on this, but instead of painting/rechroming a beat up hub, this sounds like a much easier and cost effective option.
thanks for the link for Aaron's! I plan on a terrible photo shoot when I get home for documentation purposes anyway.
I'm a bit intimidated on trying to overhaul a IGH myself. I don't have a lot of experience w/internals and would be afraid of losing something that would be expensive or hard to find a replacement for.
Anyone else w/feedback on shifting options?
