I had a prostate infection years ago, a few rounds of Cipro got rid of it. It never did impact my cycling, but over the years I've found that seats with cutouts in the center and less seat material overall are the most comfortable to me on long rides. I carry lots of padding on my rear end, need less on the saddle...

My local bike shop, like many, will let you borrow a bike seat to try it out for a few rides. The fitter at the shop used some system to size my rear end, I tried a few he recommended and ended up really liking a Selle SMP Glider which has a cut out and a "droop snoop." That replaced my old Selle SMP Gel Flow on my main road bike the older one is now on my old Trek 520.

It really is a case of YBWV (Your Butt Will Vary) - check with a bike shop if you can try a few out.
