1973-74 CCM Elite Mixte
Nothing fancy about this utilitarian built in Canada 5 speed but it was rescued from the scrappers last night and deserves a second life. SunTour Honor does the shifting duties. A neat twist to the story is the lady who messaged me about the bikes may be first in line for the mixte as she has been looking for a town bike to pull her kiddies around. The second bike is a 23" frame 1973 Favorit Rapido. The bike was not heavily used but has been stored in the rafters of a garage used for woodwork. The combination of fine sawdust and condensation has made a mess. Maybe it will buff out as we say?
