Gonna revive this old thread...
I've had three Lemonds. My current rider is a 96 Zurich. Paint was rough so I had it resprayed dark blue metallic.
Second one I had shortly was a 2005 Lemond Sarthe. It was great but I went back to the Zurich.
Last but not least I just got my hands on a Della Santa Team Z. Got very lucky. Want to open this one up to discussion a bit. I confirmed with Roland that he built it, but he seemed to think maybe the paint wasn't original. Then I saw RJDavis' DS Team Z and it made me think mine was original after all. It has the same metallic dark blue on top, dayglo on the bottom. Some of the smaller details are different from his (brake bridge, bb shell) but I suppose that's due to DS being a small outfit. He said he had inconsistent sources during that time.
