I don't use any creams, I seem to be fine without it. But I have never, like, ridden across Australia or anything.
As for quality tights, I can highly recommend Sponeed and Santic. They are every bit as well-made as my expensive ones. Tremendous value. I have learned that I do not have to spend $270 on a set of bibs to get decent quality gear.
