I got up early this morning and rode Ginny to a park that is a former Nike missile base. The former Air Force buildings are still standing and have been repurposed as a recreation hall, senior center, and for other purposes. The county recently acquired a Nike missile that was surplus from another museum to use as a garden ornament.
