Yeah, what Hermes said. If you train for a 1500W sprint, other things will suffer, the body and muscles and stuff can only do one or the other.

Track sprinters put down insane numbers, but any decent racer could probably drop them on anything over 45 minutes or something. They barely even ride bikes, honestly. If you look at their training, it's almost all off the bike in the gym. They work on technique on the bike some, and occasionally motor pacing and stuff, but if you like riding bikes, track sprinting isn't for you, lol.

Not saying you wanted to be a track sprinter, just saying what the far end of the spectrum is like.
