They're actually Aventon, and were given to a board member and coach at the SDVA to sponsor RHC riders a couple years back, so they've been raced by the fixie crit scene's finest, some of whom routinely put the hurt on me at Tuesday Night Racing (TNR)
. It felt nice to pay the guy who was also the volunteer coordinator (I did setup) and announcer at TNR.
He told me that would be the best deal I would find but I did a lap anyway just to confirm. So nice score indeed! I had planned on spending up to $150 more for essentially the same thing.
