You sure about that? It was my understanding that there is two ways the unit operates. You can stay on line with your phone and transfer the TBT directions thru BT or you can down load the map into your phone, then go off line. At that point I'm still thinking the unit has to be connected to the BT in your phone if you want turn by turn although I might be wrong about that. That said if I decide to buy something like this I'm not going to be satisfied until I get the answer directly from Lezyne ( unless of course someone here has one and knows for sure how it works ).
