2002 Litespeed Ghisallo -- 9mm diam BB hole normal?

Here's a shot of the BB shell drain hole on a 2002 Litespeed Ghisallo. It measures ~9mm diameter.

I'm used to seeing a typical ~3mm diameter BB shell drain hole on late 90s - early 2000s Litespeed road bikes, or at least typical of the ones I have.
Photo below is a 2001 Litespeed Vortex.

Concerning the Ghisallo, is this a big deal, little deal, or no deal at all?
Why the abnormally large opening on this frame? Or maybe a previous owner did it for some reason and the frame wasn't designed this way?
