Personally, I would rather skip the racing aspect and have a game where you're chasing a spy through the park and you have handlebar mounted buttons that activate weapons. If we're going to have a game, lets really make it a game. Maybe we could be running from dinosaurs in Jurassic Park world trying to make it to the helicopter before we get caught. You remind me of the sabretooth tiger race from an old PC game, Caveman Ughlympics. Would make for an interesting Zwift-style race - a sabertooth tiger (or alien xenomorph, or velociraptor, 4x4 truck, whatever, updated to modern times) is let loose a set time after the riders are released from the starting pen. Keep pedaling hard to stay ahead of the peloton. Use anti-power ups on the rider in front of you to your advantage - lead brick (opposite of feather) to reduce w/kg, umbrella (opposite of van) to eliminate draft effect, etc. Last to survive is crowned the winner.
