They had a completely original vintage army bike on the rack, complete with a leather gun holster strapped to the seat tube, under the seat stays. It had a rod brake in front, with a pad that comes down on the tire, original racks etc.

I live behind the Detroit Institute of Art and there's an employee that rides a Raleigh Sprite to work. It's in rough shape, but the kind of rough that tells a story. The brooks has sure seen better days. I always mean to take a photo but I never do.
