Those signals are unknown here. And turn signals in cars are just newly catching on. But the continuous turn signal has been around forever. Never ever trust a turn signal here. It's likely been on for days, or weeks. On the bike, I just stick out one arm or the other. And I'm the only one doing it. Many folks don't use their mirrors either. Or look before pulling into traffic. It keeps our brains sharp.

All that said, we must be aware that well over half(3/4? More, likely) of the drivers in the state are first generation drivers. And a pigeon could pass the official license test.
