When I bought mine from Amazon last year, I read all those reviews which said the fit was horrible. I went ahead and ordered my normal size--XL--and it fits well. I wore it daily during my Spring tour, always under a loose fitting jersey and frequently a rain jacket too. I likely had a base layer under it too. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It is Amazon's own brand. Vneck, I believe. Oh, I see you bought a base layer; I just bought a sweater.
