I got talking with the new owner of Fern's. He is going to move the bike rack to the back of the building, and make a nice shaded area for riders to hang out. He says he is also going to supply a pump for anyone who might need it along with some other amenities
I've seen that back area, it is cozy & seasonally, they maintain an "outdoor cubicle" for required pit-stops. smart, since cyclists potentially represent significant business. we should all remember that when we visit roadside establishments. I frequent a cafe in Arlington by bike & always make sure to buy food & drink
