I just upgraded to Alfine 11 when my Alfine 8 bike got stolen. I did run out of gears sometimes in the 8 so I have liked it so far. Haven’t done all the same routes yet, as I am only a few weeks in on the new bike. So far thumbs up. Only time will tell.
