dont waste your money on those cheap tights , get the basic pearl izumi shorts brand or better.

what works for me is a quality cycling shorts first layer
optional second layer is a nylon-ish walmart baselayer , or any cheap 10 to 15 dollar base layer
12 dollar walmart thermal winter tight base layer
another skin tight layer for aero .

i usually buy all these tights and winter base layers on sale or on clearance for 6 bucks or less ..

if you play around with it depending on the temp you will have a better set up than those cheapo thights , PLUS you can use the shorts year round and the tights for other activities .

but my opinion is never sacrifice comfort for the aero look in winter , if you are not training for a race or ride event , what is the point of the aero tights , just wear things that will make you comfy and happy ..
