I have one of those and use it regularly. I remember them from the 80s when people actually put sew ups in them... Long enough for a decent sized mini pump, cell phone, + spare tube, tools, etc. Good for fast rides if you don't want to carry that stuff in a jersey. (I don't like glass phones in my jersey pocket)

If you want something bigger I also have a Carradice zipped roll and like it very much. It's much bigger. Sufficient for all of the above plus a camera and lunch. Tweed and tartan versions available for a few bucks (er quid) more. It requires a saddle with bag hooks (ie a B17), but is small enough to not need a support. More expensive than some, but worth it IMO.
