That giant revolt sure looks like a giant defy with more wheel clearance. I doubt there would be a difference in performance on the road from your standard giant defy to this gravel bike if both used identical tires. Guess the question is why buy a giant defy over the revolt?
My thoughts exactly, get the Revolt and a second wheelset and you're covered for on and off road. The Revolt will probably be getting the bulk of my road miles, while my road bike takes a break. lol
