It was good but it rattled and felt like eventually it would break off. It has been through 2 crashes with no ejections or damage to my phone.
I just bought this:

It is extremely sturdy. My phone isn't going anywhere. Its also low profile. My one concern is to be moderate in screwing my phone in so I don't damage my phone when securing it into the mount. I tend to over-tighten things. To make me feel better I used the mesh rubber-band from the first mount on the second. That way I only tighten a little but the rubber band holds it the rest. I prefer the new mount.
for both of these, I like that there are no mounting pieces on my phone.
