I think I remember there are differences in Campagnolo pull ratios between speeds, so I don't know a cool looking 6 speed Campagnolo RD is replaceable for a shorter cage, or not quite as cool looking 8 speed...
Maybe, don't really know, this was temporary, although not switched back yet. The chain was about as loose as you would want it to be when on the small up front while still being ok for the rest of the time. I think that's the longest cage readily available and really does work very well 90%+ of the time with this setup. The cassette that normally lives on this has a 27t low and works perfect so no need to struggle beyond the setup I have now.
