Those look pretty good and I realize you're done with them.
Next time you have some bits that crusty, go after them with Turtle wax chrome polish and rust remover once they have been soaked.
The Turtle wax will clean the rust like this up another 50% if you soak them in it and scrub with a brass bristle brush.
