I've ridden past a hammer at another stop sign. And a nerf gun.
I should combine my other hobby of magnet fishing with cycling to get the nuts, bolts, cotter pins, etc.
It doesn't have to be something you pick up, but it's more fun if it's interesting. Like sticking a magnet fishing pole off the end of your bike.
