Sure, and like I said I know cat 1 racers who have raced bikes like Supersix and TCRs and open mold Chinese frames that cost 1/5 the price and they can't tell the difference. Trek's R&D eventually trickles down to Fuji and to the chinese factories that actually make Trek's bikes and then make their own frames
