The key to bagging KOMs is to create a bunch of obscure segments. A couple of years ago, we went to visit my aunt in the DR and I took my bike and created a bunch of segments in her area. I'm probably going to have those for awhile.
But there's no glory in those ones! My best moment was getting this one on the insanely fast early morning ride by starting near the back, getting 2nd in the sprint (my best result) on the fastest-on-record day.
