I don’t think this is a controversial take. Most people will agree that carbon rim brakes are terrible and not a good solution. If you’re talking braking in the rain, carbon rim brakes are not even in the same ballpark as discs. Especially when it comes to ease of modulation. I don’t want to lock up my front wheel because I grabbed a fistful of brake, only for it to suddenly bite after 1 whole second of clearing water.
