Around here it doesn't matter, they will steal anything! As long as it has two wheels it its as risk...…..
I will say this in our little cycling community here if someone posts that their 1998 Huffy gets stolen nobody bats an eye, or if a towne for example is posted stolen, nobody cares BUT if somebody puts out a better quality unit the dogs are unleashed and if the person is dumb enough to ride it on the MUP they are caught more than not.
A guy a few weeks back had a Project 1 Trek stolen outside a porta a potty in a remote area of our bike trail and the dummy who stole it was riding it the next day on the trail. Probably the only one in the state in that color combination. Golden lining in this story was he got caught, bike was fine and because of the value it was a felony theft.
I never let mine be out of my sight or a riding partners sight.
