The P-12 is hard to get, if there aren't many calendared rides. My local clubs have stepped up, offering more populaires than usual while the program is suspended. So I've done a populaire (or two!) every month for four months now. I'll stick with it for a while....
Yeah the winter months make P-12 a challenge. That's why the convenience of Permanents would have come in handy, specially because there is a Permanent that starts barely 3 miles from my house. New England Randonneurs do offer a populaire every winter month, so I am waiting for the 2019 calendar to come out. Maybe they will add more populaires now.
