I'm going to buy some hand-built wheels for my commuter bike in January for my birthday. I've got an Ultegra/Open Pro rear wheel with a cracked rim, and plan to replace the rim with DT Swiss 465s and build a matching front wheel to match it. My mechanic says the 32H DT wheels will be stronger than 36H Open Pros and I trust him on that because he's a master wheel builder. Since this wheelset will be for commuting and light touring, I don't want something strong but reasonably light and these should fit the bill.
