shimano states that it will not work, but I've read of people mating all sorts of various shimano components without any problem. I suppose the proof is in the pudding. If it fails, I'll have my LBS order a dura ace FD lickety split FD
I believe it is an Ultegra 6700 FD, I'll post the outcome on tuesday when I receive my shipment.
