MTBers beat the SNOT out of their rigs, and they don't have to replace them every season. Now, the bikes do tend to be built more ruggedly and are heavier, but compared to the amount of abuse they suffer...?

That's why I'm not buying this whole "carbon asplodes at 24 months" thing.
