Took the Trucker DeLuxe on a quick ride from East Arlington to Lexington Center and back on Mass. Ave., 12 miles. The tailwind I hadn't noticed outbound became the headwind demanding my attention inbound, but the windblocking jacket did its job.
Rode masked again, and once again found myself noticing everyone who was barefaced. Also noticed that the warm, moist environment inside the mask recapitulates the warm, moist conditions in the nasal passages; the resemblance is not accidental: the mask is indeed a gigantic nose.
