I agree with this, you might spend a little more when you actually buy it from them (as compared to a 'net deal) but the delta would be nothing compared to the cost and hassle of buying/selling/discarding saddles until you find the right one. I ride a Selle San Marco Rolls - an "old school" classic - on my steel bike, and recently upgraded the stock saddle on my cf bike to a Fizik Arione . The Arione has been great right out of the box, which surprised me - but I should qualify that by saying "out of the box" means that my lbs let me try it out before buying and gave it to me for the lowest price at the time (when shipping was factored in) to boot. Rolls is much "cushier" and heavier, but I still like it too much to give it up.
