Mad Honk is from back in the early 90's when I worked in retail liquor sales. Most of my close friend called me "Honk", short for my unpronounceable last name (which is by most standards a racial slur). My manager thought my sales techniques were out of the ordinary and one night in frustration called me "Mad" he then added You're Mad Honk!, and the moniker stuck. I've been using it for the last thirty years and it still rings true. Smiles, MH
