There may be damage to the frame/fork that you cannot see, but are nonetheless there. No way to tell without specialized equipment. You really don't need a slide rule to know the structural integrity has been comprised. Steel, maybe? But only because it doesn't fail catastrophically. Otherwise, that bike is toast.
