I am confident the thing is accurate. My fasting glucose tends to run 105-113, which USED to be considered normal but now is considered pre-diabetes/impaired fasting glucose. My A1C of 6.0% is consistent with these.
For now I am going to try to cut back on my evening carbs and monitor labs annually. My dad has Type 2 Diabetes and I have clearly inherited the tendency. It's possible my pancreas will crap out in the future and I will have to take some stupid medicine (metformin) for sugar. Sad.
