finally took the plunge and purchased a garmin 520 (not 530) unit during the amazon prime blast for about $240 usd.. old garmin was a refurb/replacement from a warrantied one i purchased
like 9 years ago. it finally/mostly got put out of its' misery 4 months ago when it was detached and in my helmet (attached to the handle bars post-ride and leaning against the car)
