Neighbor asked me to clean up her bike... (photos)

Super nice Schwinn World Tourist - although the catalogs on-line seem to indicate it should be a Collegiate. Bike is surprisingly light despite having an all steel crank, steel rims, and steel hubs. Derusted it using oxalic acid, repacked all the bearings (other than the Shimano 3 speed rear hub which I'm not familiar with), threw on some new tires and brake shoes, and the thing rides like a Cadillac. Sorry to see it leave the garage.
