Thank you guys again, the more I think about it the more I feel the same about hybrids. I went test driving and liked the 29er Mamba by Trek, though it's heavy. Maybe not great for commuting but maybe you're right qmsdc15. Maybe I should just buy tires to swap out? The Mamba has me sold on MTB for the price. However if I had money to throw around I'd get that and this:
