I wasn't enthused about mine in the beginning either. I bought my 2016 Raleigh Tamland 1 direct from Raleigh using the Corporate discount listed here. I didn't know how to install the front caliper so I took it to my local Raleigh dealer. He didn't do any adjustments to the brakes. I turned the rear in until it locked the wheel up and then backed it out a hair. The brakes have been fine ever since.
