I do know that the SE is a bit of a different animal though.
Greenville/Spartenburg/Anderson is nothing like Denton, TX or Rockford, IL. Much prettier than both, but a lot of other differences as well.
Don't get me wrong, if I had to pick a place to live today, the Carolinas would be high on my list.
