I was once driving to my sister's house in NY on I 84 on a wet drizzly day during early winter. I had reached Danbury, Connecticut just during rush hour as the sun was setting. I knew the road surface was turning to ice with every passing minute but no one was slowing down even a little bit. With such heavy traffic I was afraid to drive much slower than everyone else so my heart was working hard. Not too unexpectedly, a car just ahead suddenly spun out of control and was crosswise in my path. I did manage to get around by a miracle but my lifespan took a hit. This time of year especially we need to drive our own vehicles as well as those around us within striking distance.
