I called Trek. They said have the shop resubmit the claim to get one with a remote lockout. As for the paint they said tough luck. Quoted a song and dance about they did the best the could to find a fork with neutral color options to match the best they could since Suntour is not participating in the recall and they are shouldering all the costs.
Was the one you got hydrolic lockout at least? I feel strongly that since thats what the old fork was on the 8.4 that that is what the replacement should be.
