The saddest part in this video is how self-centered the driver is. The moment he/she sees the cyclist, he/she starts crying for him/herself. I don't even think he/she tried to help the dude one bit. Yes, you can assume the driver was probably panicked and distraught and likely unable to think or function normally: however it's a real stretch to extrapolate this assumption to a cold, uncaring, self-pitying reaction.
