I live in DFW and grew up in Houston. It's a service I would use, can't speak for my neighbors. I don't completely understand how the project would be funded, but I do know that Texas spends about
five billion dollars a year on roads. As a taxpayer I would rather some of that money be spent on anything other than
another massive freeway system. The bullet train
technology is clean and safe, no deaths or even injuries in five decades of use in Japan. Compare that to the 3000 Texans who die on the road every year.
