I grew up in a heavily Mennonite area. Think Floyd Landis. I've always identified easily with him because I know his upbringing.
Anyway, my two best friends got

#25 that first year, and did voluntary service. Not even questioned. I was NOT Mennonite, and was therefore draftable.
