Schwalbe 27.5 x 2.6 inch Ice spiker pro.
Can theses tires work with 23mm rims or do you have to have 30mm plus rims? I'm riding 2.5 maxxis wide trail tires on 23mm rims and so far no issues. I ordered the wide trail by mistake and I'm sure they would be best on 30mm rims but they do the job. With the ice spiker pro it maybe more of an issue needing the spikes to grab into the ice and snow.
Next question is it better to ride 29 X2.25 ice spiker pros or 27 x 2.6 or will it be similar. Last winter I rode 29 x 2.25 on my hardtail but I'm thinking of riding the 27 x 2.6 this year on my full suspension bike. Will it but worth the investment or just a small upgrade?
