How do I convince myself? That is, how do I convince myself to get on my bike ("Plan A"), rather than get to work by some other means ("Plan B")? Easy: there is no Plan B.

No doubt there are other ways I could get to the station: I could learn about buses, I could but a car, I could ... oh, let's not go there. I don't have a Plan B. If I can't ride my bike, I'll stay home. If I'm at work, it means I rode my bike that morning.
