Fudgy, sounds like you'd be perfect. Watching the real strong skiers it definitely develops a body type of strong shoulders, core and quads. Taller athletes have a pretty big advantage over guys like me just due to sheer leverage.
Are there any xc skiing races with only left turns? After one lesson that's all I could figure out. My pizzas are on point though.
